What is the db Cem Panel 37?

dB Cem Panel 37 is a high-performance acoustic floorboard engineered for lightweight timber frame construction. Its innovative three-layer composition—cement particle chipboard, eco-friendly acoustic felt, and rubber barrier mat—delivers superior sound insulation across the UK. 

This product meets all UK Building Regulations requirements, including Approved Document E (England & Wales), Section 5 (Scotland), and Part G (Northern Ireland).

It also achieves Robust Details performance targets, making it ideal for timber frame developments.

It can also be used as part of a Code For Sustainable Homes compliant development.

Unlike standard acoustic flooring, dB Cem Panel 37 tackles both airborne and impact noise thanks to the mass of its cement particle chipboard.

Installation is straightforward and quick, reducing labour time on site. Choose dB Cem Panel 37 for reliable, regulation-compliant acoustic performance that doesn't compromise on ease of use.

Composition: 

dB Cem Panel 28 comprises of an 22mm tongued & grooved cement particle board bonded to a 10mm Resilient Felt layer with a 5mm rubber barrier mat for optimum impact noise reduction.

Installation:

The dB Cem Panel 37 should be laid in the conventional brick bond pattern with all tongued & grooved joints glued using dB Cem Adhesive.  dB RD 100 Flanking Strip should be used to isolate the perimeters.
