What is dB FFR?

The dB Floating Floor Resilient Rubber Range is our high performance and space saving acoustic mat that can be used directly under carpet and engineered wood. Laminate and Vinyl can be installed with the use of a 6mm overlay board, such as a layer of ply or MDF.

dB FFR 15mm saves cost, time and floor height while maintaining high level of acoustic performance for both impact and airborne sound.

dB FFR 15mm can be used in Residential, Commercial and Industrial projects.

The acoustic rubber mat ensures high levels of impact sound reduction are met and due to the mass of the products there is also a high level of airborne noise reduction.

dB FFR is easy to cut with a sharp long-bladed Trimming Knife.  Score the surface then run through with the knife several times to avoid tearing.

When used in the correct application, dB FFR 15mm can be installed over timber, concrete and screed applied floors with lath and plaster, suspended timber/metal ceilings or Resilient Bar ceilings to ensure compliance to all UK Building Regulations.

Ensure to check with your floor finish manufacturer if dB FFR is compatible to be laid directly under your specific floor finish.
